We adore getting photos from our clients!  These inspiring photos come to us from Leslie Ford of Los Angeles who has become a TerraTrellis collector.  Leslie integrated several trellises around her property as focal points in her butterfly and hummingbird gardens last year.  Pictured are Akoris Garden Tuteur (in berry above and kumquat below) and the Gracie Modern Arbor.  To attract hummingbirds and soon-to-be butterflies she planted Passion Flower, Milkweed, Leonotis, varieties of Nasturtium and purple Lantana.  Leslie now reports hundreds of chrysalises around her property!

Gracie Modern Arbors featured in the classic gardens of the Greystone Mansion

Grace Design Associates, the award-winning Santa Barbara landscape design firm, has integrated 14 Gracie Modern Arbors into the public gardens of the iconic Beverly Hills Greystone Mansion.  The arbors transform pathways into magical allĂ©es that run alongside a classic 60 ft. reflecting pool at the legendary mansion which is also National Historic Landmark.  The 14 aubergine Gracie arbors are underplanted with soft blues, silvers and greens and vines are woven throughout.

This extraordinary display is one of the highlights of Maison de Luxe, a benefit sponsored by Luxe Interiors + Design magazine.  Twenty six nationally-recognized designers have each imagined fantastical spaces in this incredible early 20th century estate (now a park). Maison de Luxe is open to the public Dec. 2-22.  All proceeds benefit the Friends of Greystone Foundation.  Come experience Margie Grace's inspiring design and stroll under the Gracies!

the ultimate chic urban organic garden

Posted by Terra Trellis on July 24, 2011 0 Comments

Garden goddess and actress Hillary Danner has artfully integrated several varieties of TerraTrellis into her bucolic urban organic garden where she grows stunning heirloom peppers and edibles for her line of jams and jellies Jenkins Jellies.

Several Ina Wall Trellis Jr. (in berry) support and frame ornamental vines along the simple wood fence.  Akoris Garden Tuteurs (leaf and petal colors) are set in the raised edible beds supporting vines and adding architectural punch to the free-flowing organic shapes and textures.

Hillary cultivates many varieties of stunning heirloom peppers as well as tomatoes, japanese eggplant, squash, corn, pumpkins and herbs - many of which Hillary and business partner Maria Newman use for their unforgettably delicious Hellfire Pepper Jelly.

Read more about Jenkins Jellies on Hillary's cousin Gwyneth Paltrow's blog GOOP ... and in an upcoming feature in Country Gardens Magazine.
