Pictured is her gorgeous composition of climbing rose 'Joseph's Coat' with our two Ina Wall Trellis Sr. in oxide finish. What a beautiful way to cover a boring house or garden wall. We say to her "stunning" and of course "thank you for such a lovely email!"
Terra Trellis Blog
Anything but Ordinary
Dreaming of Spring
Pennsylvania is home to untold beautiful gardens and dedicated, passionate gardeners. It's a state filled with horticultural wonders (anyone who's visited the famed Longwood Gardens will attest). A Pennsylvania client named Georgia recently emailed us photos of her glorious spring-summer garden, lovingly filled with a palette of echinacea, roses, geranium and jasmine. Georgia's garden embraces the tradition of a classical landscape that is anchored by strong, architectural elements. We love the juxtaposition of her Akoris Garden Tuteurs against the traditional brick home, giving artful (and functional) structure to the looseness of her plantings.
Sunset Magazine & Landscape Architecture talk TerraTrellis
Sunset Magazine's super-hip blog Westphoria gives a sneak peak of the magnificent installation they created of our Gracie Modern Arbor in their test gardens at the magazine's Menlo Park headquarters.

TerraTrellis exhibits @ Dwell on Design 2012
The entire TerraTrellis collection was on exhibit at this year's Dwell On Design conference in Los Angeles. Dwell on Design is the West Coast’s largest design event, curated by the editors of Dwell Magazine. This amazing three-day celebration brought together the best and brightest products, art, furniture, structures, ideas and thinkers in modern design today. Over 25,000 visitors including designers, architects, editors, bloggers, artists, design lovers and gardeners came out to experience this design event. We so enjoyed meeting thousands of you!
Steal this look!
This just in: an innovative idea from our client Leslie Ford. Leslie artistically trained cherry tomatoes on the left and passion flower on the right of her kumquat Gracie Modern Arbor to create a very striking piece of visual (and edible!) modern art. Beautiful and functional composition. Brava, Leslie!
work. of. art.
Our clients are so creative. So clever. So stylish. Observe this incredible assemblage of white bougainvillea growing inside our Lazio Vase Trellis in leaf color. This comes to us from the front yard of Carol Schaeffer (Laurel Canyon resident in Los Angeles). Carol clearly has a great eye for inventive, artful landscaping (notice the exotic silvery succulent and low-water plantings). Amazing!
TerraTrellis featured in Garden Design Magazine: great ideas for edible gardens!
There is a must-read article in the May issue of Garden Design Magazine for anyone interested in successfully growing edibles: Up in the Air: Arbors, Trellises and the Edible Garden. The story, which features TerraTrellis, explores how trellises, arbors and garden tuteurs are essential in creating beautiful, plentiful edible gardens - especially those with sprawling, twining or climbing plants that do well going vertical.
Butterflies and Birds love TerraTrellis!
We adore getting photos from our clients! These inspiring photos come to us from Leslie Ford of Los Angeles who has become a TerraTrellis collector. Leslie integrated several trellises around her property as focal points in her butterfly and hummingbird gardens last year. Pictured are Akoris Garden Tuteur (in berry above and kumquat below) and the Gracie Modern Arbor. To attract hummingbirds and soon-to-be butterflies she planted Passion Flower, Milkweed, Leonotis, varieties of Nasturtium and purple Lantana. Leslie now reports hundreds of chrysalises around her property!
