Hundreds of brightly colored butterflies flutter all around, looping through the air and alighting on inviting plants and flowers inside the Butterfly Pavilion at the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History. People of all ages and walks of life are equally fascinated (and captivated) as they wander through the recurring and immersive exhibit—which now houses four of our arbors and trellises!

Hanging out with the birds and the bees
Since we last wrote about our Bee Bungalows and offered ideas to nurture native pollinators in the landscape, we noticed an uptick of interest and sales of our feeders and bungalows. We are thrilled that awareness is growing as to the importance of native birds and bees frequenting backyards and public gardens. Read more >
Steal this look: TerraTrellis as the canvas and the frame
Integrating a TerraTrellis provides artistic license to the home gardener to create a living work of art in the landscape. In this case: a garden wall. This is simply achieved by the thoughtful pairing of plant + trellis, with the TerraTrellis acting as a canvas. Leslie, a garden-visionary client, sent us these photos of her latest inspired pairing: a stunningly beautiful Passion Flower (Passiflora) with our Ina Wall Trellis Sr. in Leaf color. Purple and chartreuse. We love how Leslie allows the vine grow wild playing with the trellis, twining as it may and meandering around the trellis frames. Exquisite.
Steal this look!
This just in: an innovative idea from our client Leslie Ford. Leslie artistically trained cherry tomatoes on the left and passion flower on the right of her kumquat Gracie Modern Arbor to create a very striking piece of visual (and edible!) modern art. Beautiful and functional composition. Brava, Leslie!
